How the month is actually going.

New leads, deals won, follow-ups completed — compared against the period before. Plus what is waiting on you right now, which is a different kind of number and is shown differently.

A number without a comparison is just a number.

Thirty-eight new leads. Is that good? Without last month beside it you cannot tell, and a report that cannot tell you whether things are improving is decoration.

But the opposite mistake is worse. Putting “+40%” on a figure that has no honest comparison — because the workspace is three weeks old, or because nothing recorded yesterday’s number — invents a trend out of nothing, and people make decisions on it.

Reporting

Two kinds of number, told apart.

Some figures cover a period and are worth comparing — new leads this month against last. Others describe this moment and cannot be compared to anything, because nothing recorded what they were yesterday. Syncdo separates the two rather than putting a fake trend arrow on both.

  • Flow: new leads, deals won and lost, follow-ups completed, messages sent and received
  • Each compared against the preceding period of equal length
  • Snapshot: awaiting reply, overdue, no next step, stalled deals — current state, no comparison
  • Changes shown as absolute numbers, never percentages
  • Pick the period; the comparison window follows it automatically

How it works

  1. 1Open the dashboard and pick a period
  2. 2Flow figures compare against the window immediately before it
  3. 3Snapshot figures show what is true right now, with no comparison

This is reporting, not the deals board

These numbers are for reading, not for working. You cannot move a deal from here — that is the board, where deals sit in your stages and get dragged between them. This tells you how the period went; the board is where you change how the next one goes.

Comparisons only appear where they mean something. A flow figure covers a window, so the window before it is a fair comparison. A snapshot figure — how many people are awaiting a reply right now — has nothing to compare against, because Syncdo does not record what that number was yesterday. Rather than invent one, it shows no delta at all.

And every change is an absolute number, never a percentage. If last month was zero and this month is four, “+4” is true and “+400%” is meaningless.

The reporting is free on every plan. The open-pipeline figure is the exception: it counts deal values, so it needs deals, which are on Essentials and up.

Questions, answered.

You pick it, and the comparison follows automatically — whatever window you choose is compared against the period of equal length immediately before it.

Because an honest one does not exist. Figures like “awaiting reply” describe this moment, and Syncdo does not store what that number was yesterday, so any trend shown would be invented rather than measured.

Because a percentage needs a non-zero starting point and young workspaces often do not have one. If last month was zero and this month is four, the honest figure is +4; a percentage would be undefined or absurd.

No, it is on every plan. The one exception is the open-pipeline value, which totals deal values and therefore needs deals — those are on Essentials and up.
