Build your first automation

You build a rule that runs on its own, such as welcoming each new lead. Use it for steps your team repeats. Nothing runs until you publish it.

Which plans have this: Automations are on the Essentials and Intelligence plans, for owners and admins. On Free they are not available; a workspace that moves to Free keeps its flows, paused.

Steps

  1. 01

In the dashboard, open Automations and pick a starting flow, such as Welcome new leads, or create a new flow.

  2. 02

Set the trigger, such as a new lead arriving.

Add steps: assign to a teammate, create a reminder, send a message and more.

  3. 03

Under Flow settings, keep it to working hours and stop it if the customer replies.

  4. 04

Try it shows what would happen on one lead without changing anything.

    Publish switches it on.

  5. 05

The Executions tab lists every run, step by step, with the reason for anything skipped.

Questions, answered

How do I create an automation in Syncdo?

In the dashboard, open Automations, pick a starting flow such as Welcome new leads or click + New flow, set the trigger and add steps like assigning to a teammate, creating a reminder or sending a message. Try it shows what would happen on one lead without changing anything, and Publish switches it on. The Executions tab lists every run step by step, with the reason for anything skipped. Automations are on the Essentials and Intelligence plans, for owners and admins; they are not on Free.

Does an automation send messages on its own?

Only a flow you published sends anything. Messages go out from WhatsApp Web, from the line of the person the lead is assigned to, and only while WhatsApp Web is open there.

How do I stop an automation?

Turn off its switch in the Automations list. What it was still waiting to do is cancelled. Pause all stops everything.
