Follow up with a sequence

You send a short series of follow-ups to each new lead, counted from the day they join. Use it for new enquiries that need three or four nudges. Nothing sends until you turn the sequence on.

Which plans have this: Sequences are on the Essentials and Intelligence plans.

Steps

  1. 01

Pick a saved filter for who should join.

Owners, admins and managers save filters. Anyone matching joins at step one.

  2. 02

Open Bulk Send, then Campaigns at the top, and start a new sequence.

  3. 03

Name it, choose the saved filter, and add up to four messages.

Each goes on a day counted from when the lead joins, such as day 0, day 3 and day 7.

  4. 04

    Save it.

It saves switched off. Turn it on when you are ready.

  5. 05

It sends from your own WhatsApp Web, inside your workspace's Send Window, set by an owner or admin.

A lead's sequence stops when they reply. Someone who finishes never joins again.

Questions, answered

How do I send a series of follow-up messages to new enquiries?

Using a saved filter for who should join (owners, admins and managers save filters), open Bulk Send, then Campaigns, and click + New sequence. Name it, choose the filter and add up to four messages, each on a day counted from when the lead joins; it saves switched off, so turn it on when you are ready. A lead's sequence stops when they reply, and someone who finishes never joins again. A cadence repeats against a filter; a sequence runs once per person and ends. Sequences are on Essentials and Intelligence.

Does a sequence stop when the customer replies?

Yes. A lead's sequence stops when they reply.

What is the difference between a cadence and a sequence?

A cadence repeats against a filter. A sequence runs once per person and then ends.
