Give a lead to a teammate
You hand a lead to the right person, and decide who sees which leads. Use it when you share out new leads, or when someone is away.

Steps

Open the lead's record and click the pill beside its stage.
It shows who has the lead, or Unassigned. Owners, admins and managers see it; reps do not.

Pick a teammate, or Unassigned.
It saves at once. When reps see only their own leads, a manager can pick only themselves or Unassigned; an owner can let them pick any teammate in Permissions.

The lead now shows as theirs in contacts, reminders and Reports.

In Settings, Users & Roles, the Reps see only leads assigned to them switch decides who sees which leads.

In the app, tap the name pill on a lead to hand it to someone else.

How do I assign a lead to a teammate?

What happens to a lead when I reassign it?
It moves to that person, and its history stays. An open deal moves with it. Reminders already set stay with whoever they were set for.
Does turning off "Reps see only leads assigned to them" move any leads?
No. It never moves a lead. To give a rep their leads, select them in Contacts and use Assign.
