You reach the template you need in a few seconds and send it. Use it when you have more templates than fit on one screen.
Which plans have this: On every plan, including Free. Free holds 3 templates. Essentials and Intelligence have no limit.
Steps

In the panel beside a chat, click the Templates tab.

Type any word in Search templates….

Click the star ☆ on the templates you use most.
Starred ones stay at the top.

Click Send on the one you want.
A text template lands in WhatsApp's message box: check it, then press Send. A template with an attachment sends its files and caption as soon as you click it, so open the right chat first.

How do I find a template quickly?
In the panel beside a chat, click the Templates tab and type any word in Search templates…; it looks at the template name and the message text. Click the star on the templates you use most and they stay at the top. Click Send on the one you want: a text template lands in WhatsApp's message box for you to check and send, and a template with an attachment sends its files and caption at once.
How are my templates ordered?
Starred templates sit at the top. The rest are ordered by how often they are sent.
What does the template search look at?
The template's name and its message text.
