Add a teammate

You invite a teammate, give them a licence and set their role. Use it when someone new joins your team and needs their own Syncdo sign-in.

The number of people with a licence is the number of users you hold. You can buy more in Settings, then Billing.

Steps

    In the dashboard, open Settings, then Users & Roles, and click Invite Member.

  2. 2

    Enter their email, name and role.

    Syncdo gives you an invite link. Copy it and send it to them yourself. It lasts seven days.

    They open the link and enter the 6-digit code from their email.

  4. 4

    Back in Users & Roles, click Assign licence on their row.

  5. 5

    They install Syncdo and sign in on WhatsApp Web with the same email.

Questions

How do I add a teammate?

Go to Settings, then Users & Roles, and click Invite Member. Enter their email and a role, generate the invite link and Copy it to them; it lasts seven days and Syncdo does not email it. They open the link and sign in with their email code, and you click Assign licence on their row so they can connect their own WhatsApp number. They then install Syncdo and sign in on WhatsApp Web with the same email.

What do the four roles mean?

Owner: full access and billing. Admin: all features, no billing, and cannot remove people. Manager: their team's leads and reports; until Syncdo has teams, a manager's team is their own leads. Rep: their own leads, replies and templates. You can fine-tune each role in Settings, then Permissions.

Can someone join before I have a licence for them?

Yes. You can have more people than users. Someone can join now and get a licence later.
