Draft a reply with AI

You get a reply drafted for you from a few words, read it, and send it yourself. The AI only drafts. Use it when a customer asks something and you want a head start.

Steps

  1. 1

    Open a chat.

    At the bottom of the lead panel, in the box that says "What should the reply say?", type a few words.

    Pick a tone (Professional, Friendly or Casual) and a language.

  3. 3

    Click ✨ Draft Reply with AI.

  4. 4

    Read the draft and click Insert.

    Nothing is sent until you press Send. ↺ gives a new version.

Questions

How do I write a reply with AI?

Open a chat, and in the box that says "What should the reply say?" at the bottom of the lead panel type a few words. Pick a tone and a language, click Draft Reply with AI, read the draft and click Insert. Nothing is sent until you press send.

Does the AI ever send a reply on its own?

No. The AI drafts, and you send. Nothing goes to a customer until you press send.

Which languages can the AI draft in?

English, Hindi, Hinglish, Spanish, Arabic and French. An owner or admin picks the favourites in Settings, then AI & Language, and they appear as chips when you draft.
