Questions

How do I add a reminder type like Site visit?

In Settings, open Reminder Types, type a name under Add Type and answer Is this something you attend at a set time? Yes gives a duration with Done, No-show or Cancelled; No is a task with quick times (1 hr, Tomorrow 10am, In 3 days, In 7 days) and closes as Done or Cancelled. Click Add Type and reload WhatsApp Web to see it there. The pencil renames, the arrows reorder, and the archive icon stops offering a type. Owners and admins change reminder types.

If I rename a reminder type, what happens to reminders already saved?

Nothing changes for them. Saved reminders are linked by the type's key, which never changes.

What does archiving a reminder type do?

It stops the type being offered. It does not delete reminders already made with it.
