Create a deal and mark it Won

You create a deal, follow it on the board, and close it as won. Use it from the first quote to the day the customer says yes.

Steps

    In the customer's panel, go to Deals and click + Create deal.

  2. 2

    Fill in Name, Value and Deal stage, and an expected close date if you have one.

    Then click Create deal.

    In the dashboard, click All deals in the sidebar.

    The Board tab shows open deals by stage. Drag a card forward as it moves.

    When they say yes, click Won, enter the value it actually closed at and confirm.

    The All deals tab lists every closed deal.

    Filter it by Outcome, Date or Assigned to.

Questions

How do I create a deal and close it as won?

In the customer's panel, go to Deals, click + Create deal, fill in Name, Value and Deal stage, then click Create deal. In the dashboard, click All deals in the sidebar: the Board tab shows open deals by stage. When they say yes, click Won, enter what it actually closed at and click Mark won. The All deals tab lists closed deals; filter by Outcome, Date or Assigned to.

What is the difference between a lead stage and a deal stage?

Lead stages track the person. Deal stages track a piece of business with them. You set them separately.

Does Won ask for the price the deal closed at?

Yes. When you click Won, enter what it actually closed at and click Mark won.
