Mark a lead Lost with a reason

You close a lead as lost and record why. Use it so your team can see later why leads do not buy.

Steps

    In WhatsApp Web, open the lead's panel and set Lead Stage to Lost.

  2. 2

    Pick a reason.

    The stage and reason save together. If you close the question without a reason, the stage stays as it was.

  3. 3

    On the dashboard, the stage picker on a lead asks the same question.

  4. 4

    Pipeline shows the reason under each Lost lead.

    The reasons are your own list in Settings → Lost Reasons.

Questions

How do I mark a lead as lost?

In WhatsApp Web, open the lead's panel and set Lead Stage to Lost, then pick a reason under Why was this lead lost?; the stage and reason save together. The dashboard's stage picker asks the same question. Pipeline shows the reason under each Lost lead, and the reasons are your own list in Settings, Lost Reasons.

Where do the lead's lost reasons come from?

From the lead lost reasons in Settings, then Lost Reasons. Only an owner or admin can change the list.

If I rename or remove a lost reason, what happens to leads already lost?

Nothing. A lead already marked lost keeps the reason it was given.
